10/21/2012—-Tate McQueen, Owen High School Soccer Coach and Greg Mace, Special
Olympics of Buncombe County. Collaborative effort between Owen
High School and Asheville Christian Academy Boys Soccer Teams to
Raise funds and assist in coaching Special Olympics Participants of
Buncombe County. Issue Addressed: Special Needs/handicapped
10/28/2012—–Jim Barrett, Pisgah Legal Service. 35 percent increase in caseload for
Regional Civil Attorney’s Organization to help the needy. Foreclosure
Prevention and Domestic Violence cases part of the increase. Issue
Addressed: Civil Rights
11/4/2012—-Stewart Humphrey of New Life Center, an organization working
To raise 300-thousand dollars to construct a Chapel and Establish
Faith-based programs for inmates at the Buncombe Correctional
Facility State Prison. Studies show such programs have a positive
Effect on reducing percentages of inmates returning to prison after
Their release. Issue Addressed: Counseling
11/11/2012—-Bill Bradley, Executive Director, Hearts with Hands Disaster Relief
Organization on local efforts to ship relief supplies to areas hit by
Hurricane Sandy in the Northeast United States. Issue Addressed:

Thanksgiving, Christmas meal fundraiser, update on Emergency

Traffic reports: WOXL-FM HD-2 on 98.1 FM airs 5 traffic reports each weekday morning at 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. Each report is :30 to :60 in length. There are five traffic reports each week day afternoon at 4:20, 4:40, 5:05, 5:20 and 5:35.

Blue Ridge Pride – September 28th to October 6th on 98.1 the River. Media sponsor for a LGBT festival pro-bono. Included in 2 weekly eblast to River database, website presence and approx. 40 live liners.
Q-fest Film Festival – October 1st to 8th on 98.1 the River. Media sponsor for a LGBT film festival pro-bono. Included in a weekly eblast to River database, website presence and approx. 25 live liners.
Yappy Hour at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse – October 25th. Was promoted on Mix 96.5 and 98.1 the River from October 19th to 25th as a fundraiser event for Asheville Humane Society. Raised approx. $300 and were included in approx. 50 promo mentions, 2 eblasts for each station and website presence.
Jinglefest – November 12th to November 17th. Promoted on Mix 96.5, 105.9 the Mountain and 98.1 the River. As media sponsor, the station promoted a free public event following the City Holiday Parade. Mix 96.5 was on site with a tent, table, prizes and giveaways. Included approx. 25 liners per station, eblast on each station and website presence on each station.
Blanket Drive – November 15th on 98.1 the River. Provided promotional support on-air with approx. 25 liners, website presence, eblast and the day of the event a DJ was on site with tent, hot coffee and food for a blanket drive to help gather blankets for area shelters.
Santa Pal – November 19th to December 9th on 105.9 the Mountain and 98.1 the River. Promoted the cause to help raise money and toys for children in need with approx. 100 on-air promos on each station, website feature on each station website, 2 eblasts to each station email club. 105.9 the Mountain also did 2 live remote broadcasts pro-bono to serve as donation drop off points. The remote were held on November 24th and December 8th and included 25 :30 commercials and 15 :15 promos each.
Eblen Turkey Giveaway – November 21st. Promoted on 105.9 the Mountain, Mix 96.5, 98.1 the River and ESPN Radio to drive underprivileged Asheville residents to a grocery store to receive a free turkey for Thanksgiving. The event was promoted with approx. 50 on air promos per station, eblast to each station database, and a website feature on each station website.
Make a Wish Benefit Concert – November 22nd to December 6th on 98.1 the River. As media sponsor we promoted concert with approx. 80 live liners and promos, social media, website feature, eblast and text blast to River databases. A River DJ also did stage announcements and hosted the concert the night of the event at no charge. Proceeds from the concert went to the Make a Wish Foundation.
