56-year-old woman reported missing in Barnardsville

BARNARDSVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing Barnardsville woman.

Detectives said Betty Wheeler, 56, was last seen around 2:30 a.m. Monday in the area of 1170 Dillingham Road.

Wheeler is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall with curly blonde hair. She was wearing blue jeans, a flannel shirt, boots and a ballcap.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office at 828-250-6670.50-6670.
