Bulldogs basketball: UNC Asheville announces Big South Conference schedule

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The University of North Carolina Asheville men’s basketball team has announced its 2026-27 Big South Conference schedule, which includes eight games at home inside the Kimmel Arena.

January

The conference games will begin on Jan. 1, 2027, with a contest against the University of South Carolina Upstate.

Then, the Bulldogs will return home for three games: Winthrop University on Sunday, Jan. 3, Charleston Southern University on Jan. 9 and Longwood University on Jan. 13.

Road games will follow on Jan. 16 at Gardener-Webb University and Radford University on Jan. 20, before play returns to Kimmel Arena on Jan. 23.

The final BSC game of January will be played at High Point University on Jan. 28.

February

February Bulldogs games will begin on Feb. 3 at Kimmel Arena against Radford, before a trip to Winthrop on Feb. 6.

UNC Asheville will defend against High Point on Feb. 11, travel to Longwood on Feb. 13 and travel to Presbyterian College on Feb. 18, before returning to face USC Upstate at home on Feb. 20.

The regular season will close with a road game at Charleston Southern on Feb. 25 and a home game against Gardner-Webb on Feb. 27.
