ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The yarn artists of Asheville have coated Wall Street with warm and fuzzy sweaters just in time for the winter chill to set in.
The knit project is dubbed the “Yarn Bomb of Love,” according to a signpost towards the end of Wall Street. It reports that the installation is the result of many nimble fingers at work.
The project is the latest in many community displays of unity around Asheville in the aftermath of the damage Hurricane Helene brought to the city. Check out the colorful crocheting in our gallery below.

As the song demands: "Let's go!" The Colombian superstar Shakira and Afrobeats icon Burna Boy have teamed up for "Dai Dai," the official song for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The World Cup final will feature a star-studded halftime show headlined by Madonna, Shakira and boy-band BTS. FIFA has announced that, for the first time, the final at the Metlife Stadium in New Jersey on July 19 will include a Super Bowl-style concert.
