ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Another round of wintry weather has prompted some Western North Carolina School districts to delay the start of classes Friday.

Those include:

Avery County Schools: Two-hour delay
Jackson County Schools — Blue Ridge District: Two-hour delay
Madison County Schools: Two-hour delay
Mayland Community College: Two-hour delay
McDowell County Schools: Two-hour delay
McDowell Technical Community College: Two-hour delay
Mitchell County Schools: Open at 9 a.m.
Transylvania County Schools: Two-hour delay
Yancey County Schools: Two-hour delay
