ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Not up to cooking for Thanksgiving? The vibrant culinary scene in the Asheville area has dine-in and takeout options.

Several restaurants will be open for Thanksgiving, offering a variety of dining options:

Pack’s Tavern: Will have multiple Thanksgiving buffets with turkey, ham, sides and desserts. Open from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Reservations recommended​ but walk-ins welcome. Call 828-225-6944.

Hemingway’s Cuba: Featuring a bountiful buffet featuring traditional favorites like turkey breast and sides, alongside a special prime rib and an incredible ice cream bar. Open 1 p.m.-8 p.m. Call 828-417-6866​

The Blackbird Restaurant: Offering a three-course Thanksgiving meal, including turkey and desserts. Reservations are encouraged. Open 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Call 828-254-2502

Moose Cafe: Will serve a traditional Thanksgiving menu for dine-in or takeout. Open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Call 828-255-0920

Bargello: Menu includes an Italian-and-Mediterranean-inspired, four-course family-style meal featuring Thanksgiving classics such as turkey, stuffing, potatoes and more. Open noon-8 p.m. Call 828-774-5564

The Bier Garden:  Enjoy a Thanksgiving feast and a huge selection of beer. Open from 11 a.m. to midnight. Call 828-285-0002

Blue Mountain Pizza and Brewery: A free community Thanksgiving dinner for those in need of food or company. Open from noon to 3 p.m. Call 828-658-8778

Folk Lore: Offering a classic Thanksgiving meal served family style at your table. Open from 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Call 828-209-2715 to reserve your table.

Gemelli: In addition to the usual favorites, indulge in a classic Turkey dinner with light and dark turkey, gravy, cornbread stuffing, cranberry sauce, yukon gold mashed potatoes, braised greens and a buttered yeast roll. Takeout and pre-order:

Baked Pie, City Bakery, Rabbit Hole and Old Europe – Don’t forget dessert! These wonderful bakeries have pies, pastries and desserts available for pick-up.

Beradu – This Black Mountain specialty market and kitchen that specializes in local, wild and sustainably-sourced foods is offering whole turkeys and sides for pre-order with pick-ups on Nov. 27.

Doc Brown’s BBQ – Southern-style Thanksgiving with pickup from this Candler restaurant on Thanksgiving Day from noon-4 p.m.

Luella’s – Cider-brined and whole smoked turkey breast, chile-rubbed beef brisket and fresh apple-cranberry relish are just some of the items available for pre-order from this beloved BBQ spot. Pick-ups on Nov. 25-28 at the North or South Asheville locations.
