Thrift store event brings art, crafts and furry friends to Asheville

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The Asheville Humane Society is hosting a family-friendly event this Saturday at its thrift store.

Luck of the Paws will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Asheville Humane Society Thrift Store, 800 Fairview Road, Suite EE 28803.

The event will feature five local artists, a caricature artist, face painting and crafts for all ages. Guests can also enjoy drinks and snacks, take part in a coupon scavenger hunt and meet furry visitors from the Asheville Humane Society between 1 and 3 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public.
