ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The Wall Street Parking Garage will close completely for two weeks starting at 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, to complete essential repairs, city officials said. All vehicles must be removed by 7 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26.

On the morning of Sept. 26, the Rankin Avenue Garage will become fully operational, following a partial reopening on Sept. 1.

City officials said the Wall Street Garage is expected to reopen by Oct. 10, in line with the city’s goal to have both downtown garages open in early October. Repairs that do not require a full closure will continue through the rest of the year. Officials noted that construction schedules are subject to change because of unforeseen conditions.
