ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Storms are once again rolling back into Western North Carolina.

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Henderson and Transylvania counties until 2:15 p.m. and for Buncombe County until 2:30 p.m.

These warnings could be updated as storm conditions change. Keep an eye on the National Weather Service and other local alerts for the latest forecast.

The storms bring the chance for strong winds and some hail, with the possibility of damaged trees and power lines.

The main threat from these storms could be damaging straight-line winds from storm outflows. Localized flooding will also be a concern with any storms that train over the same area.
