On Sunday, September 15, Sierra Ferrell returns to Asheville for a special night at The Orange Peel, joined by special guests Nest of Singing Birds. This isn’t just another concert – it’s a benefit for Western North Carolina recovery efforts, with proceeds helping our neighbors rebuild and heal.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 15. And because we love sharing live music with our listeners, 98.1 The River has your chance to win a pair of tickets. Just fill out the entry form below for your shot at being part of this incredible evening.

Contest Rules:
Beginning at 12:00pm, August 15th, and ending at 11:59pm, August 22nd, entrants can complete a register to win form at 981TheRiver.com to enter to win tickets to see Sierra Ferrell at The Orange Peel on September 15, 2025. There will be three winners. Each winner will receive two tickets to the concert. Prize is valued at $50 per ticket for a total estimated value of $100 retail.
Winners will be chosen at random by a representative of 98.1 The River on Monday, August 25th and winners will be notified by 5pm the same day. Winner will claim tickets at The Orange Peel Box Office Will Call line on day of concert.
The contest is open to those who hold a valid article of state identification and are 18 years of age or older and those 18 or older with a valid military I.D.
All 98.1 The River general contest rules apply. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Asheville Radio Group’s sole responsibility will be to award the prize. Asheville Radio Group shall have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner for any reason cannot or decides not to use any of the prize.
