The Hazy Hideaway is a two-day music, art, and beer festival held at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.’s Mills River, NC brewery, August 21 – 22. The 21+ event features indie, alternative, and electronic acts across multiple amphitheaters, plus local and emerging talent.
Friday’s headliners include Phantogram, with Poolside, Mon Rovîa, Magic City Hippies, King Garbage, Boat Command, Krave, and The Silver Doors. Saturday’s headliners are Toro y Moi, joined by Jonah Kagan, Helado Tropical, Bay Ledges, The Get Right Band, Pink Beds, and others.

Contest Rules
Beginning at 12:00am, Monday, July 27th, and ending at 11:59pm, Sunday, August 2nd, entrants can complete a register to win form at 981TheRiver.com to enter to win tickets to The Hazy Hideaway Arts & Music Festival at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.’s Mills River, NC brewery, August 21 – 22. There will be 5 winners. Each winner receives a pair (2) of tickets of two-day passes to the festival. Tickets are valued at $100.50 per ticket for a total estimated value of $201 retail.
Winners will be chosen at random by a representative of 98.1 The River on Monday, August 3rd and winners will be notified by 5pm the same day.
Prize is claimed via electronic transfer. Upon notification of win, winner name and email address will be submitted to event organizers. Event organizers will digitally transfer tickets to the winner within 48 hours of event. All winners must be 21+ and show valid ID to claim prize and enter festival grounds. Ticket transfers will come from the Sierra Nevada event ticketing service partner, Event Brite.
Tickets will be electronically transferred to the email account under which the contest participant registered for the contest no later than one week before the date of the concert. Ticket Transfer will be ordered via Event Brite and Event Brite will email the winner notification that they have a ticket transfer waiting for acceptance. The winner must create an Event Brite account or log in to the existing account associated with the email with which winner entered to win the contest to accept ticket transfer and access tickets.
The contest is open to those who hold a valid article of state identification and are 21 years of age or older and those 21 or older with a valid military I.D.
All 98.1 The River general contest rules apply. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Asheville Radio Group’s sole responsibility will be to award the prize. Asheville Radio Group shall have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner for any reason cannot or decides not to use any of the prize.
