Contest Rules

Beginning at 12:00am, Monday, April 6th, and ending at 11:59pm, Sunday, April 12th, entrants can complete a register to win form at 981TheRiver.com to enter to win tickets to see Melissa Etheridge play Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort on September 4th, 2026. There will be 4 winners. Each winner will receive a pair (2) of tickets to the show. Tickets are valued at $67.45 per ticket for a total estimated value of $134.90 retail.

Winners will be chosen at random by a representative of 98.1 The River on Monday, April 13th, and winners will be notified by 5pm the same day.

Winner must claim prize at Asheville Media Group (1190 Patton Avenue, Asheville, NC 28806) during Prize Pick Up Hours (M-F 9:30am – 2:30pm).

The contest is open to those who hold a valid article of state identification and are 18 years of age or older and those 18 or older with a valid military I.D.

All 98.1 The River general contest rules apply. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Asheville Radio Group’s sole responsibility will be to award the prize. Asheville Radio Group shall have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner for any reason cannot or decides not to use any of the prize.
